Why do some of my orders in Packiyo have two different order dates?

When managing orders in Packiyo, you may notice that orders received through an integrated Order Channel display two different dates. This can be confusing, but it is important to understand the difference between these dates to accurately track and fulfill orders.

The Order Date in the Order Details panel at the top of the page reflects the date and time a customer placed an order. This is the date and time that the customer clicked the Place Order button on your website or online store.

This date is important for tracking the timeline of the order and ensuring that it is fulfilled on time. The date will also be displayed to the customer on their order confirmation and receipt.

On the other hand, the Order Date in the Order Log at the bottom of the page reflects the date and time when the order is transmitted from the Order Channel and received in Packiyo. This is the date and time that Packiyo's system receives the order and is ready to be processed and fulfilled.

This date is important for tracking the efficiency of your Order Channel and ensuring that orders are being received and processed correctly. It may also help troubleshoot any issues with the integration.

In summary, the Order Date in the Order Details panel reflects the date and time the customer placed the order, while the Order Date in the Order Log reflects the date and time the order was received by Packiyo. Understanding the difference between these dates will help you accurately track and fulfill orders through your integrated Order Channel.
