Redo Returns Integration
Connect Redo Returns with Packiyo to sync, receive, and process customer returns.

🔧 Heads up: Self-serve setup for the Redo integration isn't ready yet. Reach out to support at support@packiyo.com and they'll get you connected
Redo Returns works with Shopify. A Shopify account is required to create and use a Redo account, and Redo is installed as an app within Shopify.
To connect Redo, open Shopify and select the store you want to connect from the top-right corner. Search for “Redo” in Shopify, then select the Redo app.
Click Redo to open the app page, then click Install.
The install action redirects to Shopify. Click Install to approve the app access.
After installation, Redo opens an onboarding flow. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.
To log back in to Redo after a session expires, go to https://app.getredo.com/login and select Sign in with Shopify. Paste your Shopify URL and continue with Shopify sign-in. If you are not already logged in, Shopify will prompt you to authenticate before redirecting you to the Redo dashboard.
From the Redo dashboard, go to Settings and select Developer.
Note: If the Developer option is not visible, the connected Shopify account may not have the required permissions. In the source setup, some stores had permission to create API tokens while the test store did not because the Shopify account did not have the necessary permission.
Click Redo Settings.
Click Redo Developer.
Copy the Store ID shown on the Developer page. You will need it when connecting Redo to Packiyo.
Click Create Token.
Give the token a name, select the necessary permissions, and click Create token.
Copy the token immediately. It will not be available to view later.
Navigate to Packiyo Connection > Apps > Add new.
Select Redo.
Enter the Store ID and API Token generated in Redo.
Click Create. Verify that the credentials authenticate successfully, then save the connection.
After connecting, click Configure to open the return sync page in Packiyo.
From the configuration page, you can sync returns created by Redo by date or Return ID.
To receive Return Create/Update events from Redo, click Recreate All in Manage webhooks. This creates the Redo webhook Packiyo uses for return create/update events.
To send receive/reject updates back to Redo, create the Packiyo webhook “Receive Returns”.
To create a return in Redo, go to Redo Dashboard > Order > Fulfilled Order, then open an order.
Click Order Action > Create Return.
Follow the Return Creation workflow.
After the return is created, Redo opens the return page for the order. The Redo Return ID appears in the URL and can be used with Packiyo’s Sync by ID option.

Update Return
Return sync uses the Redo returns API. The source workflow describes the following behavior:
Returns are fetched from the Redo /returns API based on the last synced date.
Fetched returns are mapped to Packiyo order-return data and saved to the appropriate return tables.
Returns can be retrieved by date, Return ID, and webhook.
Returns with status complete, rejected, needs_review, or flagged are not synced.
If a complete or rejected return was synced earlier, it is saved as Closed in Packiyo.
To receive or reject a return after it syncs into Packiyo, go to the Packiyo Returns page and click Receive Return for that return. The return opens for item-level receiving or rejection.
You can receive or reject products in multiple locations. By default, “Received Returns” and “Rejected Returns” are selected. Select the appropriate location, then use the right-arrow icon to receive an item. To reject an item, open the three-dot menu and select Reject, then enter the reject quantity, reason, and notes.
After receiving or rejecting items, click Done. When all items are either received or rejected, Packiyo calls the Redo API to process the return.
When Packiyo’s receive/reject updates are processed, the source describes this logic:
Only fully received returns are processed.
Packiyo sends Redo the accepted products through the /process endpoint.
Remaining return-order items are marked as Processed. The return is set to Rejected if any item is rejected; otherwise it is set to Completed.
When Packiyo calls Redo’s /process endpoint, Redo processes the return and creates the exchange order in Shopify as a normal order.
When a return item is received into a default location such as Received Returns, Packiyo does not send a webhook to update Shopify inventory because those locations are not pickable/sellable by default.
If an item is received into a location where pickable/sellable is enabled, Packiyo sends a webhook to update Shopify inventory. Transferring an item from a default return location to a pickable/sellable location also adjusts inventory in Packiyo and sends the Shopify inventory update.
Orders must already be synced into Packiyo before their returns can be synced or processed.
Redo returns cannot be synced if the associated Packiyo order does not exist.
When the return is fully received, Packiyo triggers the “process return” action on Redo. Redo then creates the exchange order, refund, or other configured outcome.
