Understanding TikTok Shipping Types

When orders import from TikTok, Packiyo automatically applies a tag showing which shipping method the merchant selected within their TikTok Shop.

Unlike standard webshop shipping methods, USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage won't show up in the Shipping Mappings page right away — and that's expected.

This carrier option only becomes available for automation after one shipment has been manually processed using USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage.

Initial One-Time Setup

Before you can automate anything, you'll need to manually ship one TikTok Shipping order first.

1. Navigate to the Packing screen.
2. Open a TikTok Shipping order.
3. Click Show Calculated Rates (Rate Shop).
4. Select USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage.
5. Purchase the shipping label.
6. Complete the shipment.

Once this first shipment is done, the shipping method becomes available as an automation action.

Automating Future TikTok Shipping Orders

Once that first shipment has been processed manually:

1. Click the Gear Icon.
2. Navigate to Settings → Automation.
3. Click Create Automation.
4. Configure the automation as follows:
   • Event: When an order is created
   • Condition: Order Tag is TikTok Shipping
   • Action: Set Shipping Method → USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage
5. Enable (Active) the automation.
6. Click Save.

Expected result

Once the automation is enabled, every new TikTok order tagged TikTok Shipping will automatically have its shipping method set to USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage — no manual carrier selection needed going forward.

Check that:

• A TikTok Shipping order has already been manually shipped using USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage.

• You've refreshed the Automation page after the shipment.

This is expected — USPS (TikTok) Ground Advantage isn't configured through Shipping Mappings. It only becomes available as an automation action after that first manual shipment.
