Connecting a Shopify Store to Packiyo

Follow this simple guide for the connection settings to link Shopify with Packiyo.

Getting Started

Packiyo WMS communicates directly with Shopify stores using the Shopify API. To allow this, we need to create a custom app in Shopify.

Create a Custom App

  1. Log in to your Shopify account.

  2. Go to Settings  Apps and sales channels.

  3. On the top-right corner, tap the "Develop Apps" link:



4. Click the 'Allow custom app development' button, then 'Create an app'.

5. Enter your preferred app name:



6. Next, enable the following 13 Admin API Scopes, then Save:

  1. write_fulfillments
  2. read_fulfillments
  3. write_inventory
  4. read_inventory
  5. read_locations
  6. write_orders
  7. read_orders
  8. write_products
  9. read_products
  10. write_assigned_fulfillment_orders
  11. read_assigned_fulfillment_orders
  12. write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders
  13. read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders


Generating the Access Token

To generate the access token:

7. Tap on the API credentials tab, and select Install app. After the installation is finished, tap the 'Reveal token once' button:




Obtaining the Location ID and Shopify Store URL

  1. On the Settings menu, click Locations. Select the fulfillment location you will associate the custom app with:


Final Steps

Once you have the Access Token, Shopify Store URL, and Location ID from your custom app, send them to our Packiyo Support team to finalize the Shopify store connection to Packiyo.
